While on a early fall trip to Glacier National Park I wanted to capture sunrise from a little different place. I went to the Windy Flats area of Many Glacier. There are a lot of great trees that would be perfect for a sunset composition plus with the chance of seeing wildlife I thought this would be a good bet. Right before sunrise, the sky light up like a bonfire and the lake captured the reflection. Scrambling for a composition I settled on just a simple image of the lake and some of the grass in the foreground giving the image more of an abstract look.
