!!00 Feet below at the trailhead I had no idea what to expect. Worried that I got there to late and the snow and clouds would force me to turn back around.. After a 2.2 mile hike that seemed like it was twice as long and straight up hill, I arrived to this amazing view. A light snow turned and few hikers caused my anxiety to grow not knowing how much daylight I would have to shoot and hike back down.. Of course I wish I stayed 15 minutes longer. It was amazing and I didn't get to enjoy it enough. The Golden Larches were in peak color and the lake lived up to its name, Blue Lake. I know there will be a next trip but it won"t come soon enough.
