Sunrift Gorge
Sunrift Goarge is a popular destination and stopping point when driving the Going-to-th-Sun road in Glacier National Park. Located on the east side of glacier, this unique water feature was created as glaciial runoff from Sexton Glaier carved through bedrock creating this beautiful canyon lined with moss, ferns and trees. This gorge is just the starting point for a great hike that follows baring creek to baring falls and then a little farther is St. Mary's Falls.
