The City of Spokane Washington is is special in that it has a spectacular river that flows right through the downtown area. The Spokane river can be enjoyed from several different areas includeing this one which is Huntington Park. The park was build by Avist, a power utility company and not only allows access to the lower falls of the Spokane River but also highlights some of the history that is accociated with this part of the river. This is also an area where the skyride gondolas visit, as well.
