One of my favorite spots from a recent vacation. This red door leads to a garden on the property of Mcmenamins Edgefield property in Troutdale. To truly understand Mcmenamins it is easier for you to look them up. All their properties are different. This one was the former site of a poor farm. Now it has been turned into a hotel and spa with 11 bars and restaurants scattered throughout. They also have a distillery, winery and brewery.. Gardens like this are used to grow produce for the restaurants and brewing. Their is eclectic art everywhere. This simple red door seems something out of a fairy tail.
