Patterns in the Harvested Barley field lead right through the rainbow and into the sheet of rain. From the peaks of the biggest hills in the palouse, this is only a view a farmer can see. On this day in August the Smith Family fars hurry to get their barley harvest before rain comes. These amazing view comes from just outside of Cheney Washington on the edge of the Palouse. The top of this hill is a great vantage point for this rainbow that is a subtle message to the farmers that the rain is already hear.
