The seasons not only have a visible effect on the vegetation but many other things as well. In this case, the rivers and streams are a lot lower revealing scenes that one wouldn't normally see. Riverside state park is very popular park on the east side of Washington State. Camping, hiking, biking and picnicking are just of the many activities that can be enjoyed in this beautiful park. This is a view from the Bowl and Pitcher area. In the spring not only would this spot not be accessible but it would be underwater. The color version of this image is also great but I think the exposed rocks create more texture that is highlighted more in black and white.
