Astoria Bridge

Astoria Bridge

This 4.1 mile long bridge was completed on August 27, 1966. It spans the mouth of the Columbia River linking the Cities of Astoria in Oregon to Megle in Washington. The Astoria-Megle Bridge is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America, and replaces a slow and unreliable ferry service that was use to transport vehicals accross the mouth of the Columbia River.
