Courthouse in Autumn

Courthouse in Autumn

At first glance, this amazing structure more closely resembles a castle you might see somewhere in Europe. This is actually the Spokane county courthouse. Constructed in 1893 and finished in 1895, this building was designed to contain courtrooms, a jail and various vaults to hold vital records. Today it is still just as impressive, rising above the Spokane skyline looking almost out of place at time. The building itself definitely wears fall the best out of all seasons with the supporting landscape and the golden autumn foliage from the old growth trees that surround it.

I offer a variety of landscape, nature and wildlife images and fine art digital paintings. I also have many agricultural, farming and countryside images as well. Most of my work is from around the Pacific Northwest, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, British Columbia, and Alberta. Please look through my galleries or visit my website to view my full portfolio.
