While traveling home from a trip I noticed this old truck just left to decay in the middle of this field. There was a fence posted with no trespassing signs so I only had so many options for photographing it. The sky was really unimpressive and it was impossible to get a shot without it. but I figured I would take several shots and hope I could make something out of it. Every once in a while I would work on it but I was never happy with it. Recently I was working up an image and adding textures to it and thought of this one. So I played around with it and came up with this. I wanted to give this 1945 Chevy truck a vintage feel along with the arid landscape it was sitting in. I thought this worked well.
