Spring is a favorite time to photograph the Palouse in Eastern Washington. The wildflowers are out on Steptoe Butte. All of the fields are lush and green. There are so many places to focus on as well. Barns and farmsteads to to the abstract formations of the rolling hills. This tree, nestled in a small valley caught my eye with curves of the fallow farmland leading up to it. Then there is the light and shadows cast by the setting sun.
