A first time visit to this area, I didn't know what to expect outside of what I saw from pictures. Since I drove over an hour in the dark to get her before sunrise I couldn't even tell what the surroundings looked like. After arriving I surveyed the scene and found a spot to set up. When the sun started to come up this beautiful scene was revealed. While there was very few clouds at the start to catch the light and the color from the sun, they soon came after the sun was up. Trillium Lake is located in the Mount Hood National Forest in Oregon.
